In <a href=\"https:\/\/elixir-europe.org\/\">ELIXIR Europe<\/a>, he serves as Deputy Head of the Italian Node, Co-Lead of the Cellular and Molecular Research priority area, and Co-Lead of the Machine Learning Focus Group. He coordinates the MSCA SE projects <a href=\"https:\/\/idpfun.eu\/\">IDPfun2<\/a> and IDPexec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His research focuses on developing advanced bioinformatics tools and computational methods to address key challenges in structural biology, with an emphasis on non-globular proteins. His team has created widely used resources for predicting protein aggregation, post-translational modifications, intrinsically disordered proteins, and the impact of mutations on protein stability and function. Leveraging expertise in software development, computing infrastructure, and open database creation, his lab provides or contributes to widely used resources to the global life-science community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Integrated into an extensive international network, Tosatto\u2019s group advances research in structural and functional biology, large-scale and genome-wide analysis, and studies of genetic disease and cancer.
