The IDPfun2 Kickoff Meeting marked the official launch of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Staff Exchange project IDPfun2 – Integrating Novel Data, AI, and Molecular Behavior to Expand Functional Characterization of Intrinsically Disordered Proteins. Hosted by Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, Hungary, the event brought together consortium members from seven European and five Argentinian institutions to present the project’s objectives, discuss planned activities, and coordinate the first year of work.

The meeting included scientific sessions organized jointly with the Horizon Europe Twinning project IDP2Biomed, providing an opportunity to exchange knowledge and strengthen collaborations in the field of intrinsically disordered proteins. The event successfully established the foundations for future research, training, and secondment activities within the IDPfun2 consortium.
