“For his scientific initiatives and the international relations he promoted, facilitating collaborations and exchange programs between the National University of Quilmes and various European institutions, primarily with the University of Padua, bringing benefits to many students and researchers, and strengthening the global reach of the academic activities of the National University of Quilmes.”

With these reasons, on Tuesday, August 27, the National University of Quilmes (UNQ) in Argentina, on the initiative of the Department of Science and Technology, awarded the title of Doctor Honoris Causa to Professor Silvio Tosatto, a faculty member of the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Padua. The ceremony took place in the Nicolas Casullo Auditorium of the UNQ.
