Led by the BioComputing UP lab with broad participation from the ELIXIR Machine Learning Focus Group and involving experts from over 10 ELIXIR Nodes, a new perspective published in Nature Methods addresses the reproducibility, reusability and environmental crises in biological AI.
The paper introduces 9 actionable recommendations for Open and Sustainable AI (OSAI) and provides researchers with a mapped ecosystem of over 300 tools to ensure AI outputs are reusable, reproducible, and environmentally sustainable.
A step forward in building responsible AI in the life sciences.
