In a 3 – hour marathon, live-streamed on YouTube, 20 scientists from the University of Padua will take turns on the festival stage to tell the general public about the challenges they have embraced and the scientific results they have achieved thanks to funding from the Ministry of University and Research with the PNRR Next Generation EU funds. This event aims to explain the strategic visions that guide those conducting cutting-edge scientific research in our country today.

The first session, starting at 5:00 p.m., will focus on health and will also feature our PI Silvio Tosatto, presenting the results of the project  ELIXIR x NextGenerationIT and in particular  the deployment of ELIXIR Compute Cloud at UNIPD (ECC).

Later sessions will highlight research on environment and sustainability and technology.

Alongside the talks, the Cortile Antico of Palazzo del Bo will be transformed into a “science agora” through a multimedia installation with eight LED walls, open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Visitors can experience an immersive flow of images, sounds, and stories: 60–70 second videos will give voice to avatars of researchers, who will present their projects in direct dialogue with the public. From our group, postdoc Federica Quaglia, will present the ECC
