Our interests cover several aspects of what is generally termed bioinformatics and computational biology.

Our main aim is to integrate the development of novel methods and their application to biologically relevant issues. In order to evaluate the performance of our tools, we regularly participate in international competitions like:
Critical Assessment of Techniques for Protein Structure Prediction (CASP)
Critical Assessment of Genome Interpretation (CAGI)
Critical Assessment of Function Annotation experiment (CAFA)
